"EDRIG" COAL FIRED CONVERSION.

16mm SCALE FOR 32mm AND 45mm TRACK
This is a service offering the customer a complete R-T-R coal fired version of the Accucraft Edrig 0-4-0 side tank loco. The Edrig must be purchased and tested by the customer prior to delivery to DJB model engineering Ltd for conversion.
Basic coal fired conversion includes the following, installed painted and tested:
Complete coal fired boiler including:
* Water gauge with blow down valve
* Regulator assembly
* Blower valve
* Goodal water filling valve
* Displacement lubricator (Standard Accucraft taken off your Edrig)
* 3/4" Pressure gauge (Standard Accucraft taken off your Edrig)
* Stainless steel ashpan and grate
* Boiler cladding sheet including 1mm Ceramic fibre lagging
New cast smokebox and door assembly (uses the exsisting Edrig chimney)
Blast pipe and blower ring assembly
New inner water tanks assembled into the dummy side tanks including pipe work to axle pump
Axle driven water pump including clackbox and by-pass valve
Price: £1,230 (excludes the cost of the Edrig must be supplied by the customer)

* Carrying case (this is a foam lined plastic carrying case suitable for storing, transporting and carrying the model around) £25
*Please note the carry case is not suitable for posting or shipping the model
* Firing set including battery powered steam raising blower (batteries not included) Shovel, pricker, flue brush and a bag of coal £75
Postage packing and insurance is extra and is charged at cost
* Please state if you require your gas fired boiler, gas tank etc, removed from Edrig, returned with the converted model
* Alternatively the customer can pick up the completed model in person and also see the model running. Lessons in coal firing the model can be given at the same time if the customer requires these skills; there is no charge for this
Ordering a Edrig coal fired conversion:
* Please note this is a limited service due to other work and the availability of the Accucraft Edrig
* Initially a letter or e-mail confirming you would like a coal fired Edrig converted to coal fired boiler is sufficient, plus an idea of when you are likely to obtain your Edrig would help in the planning process. You may also wish to advise the options you would like, or may send them with the deposit and model
* Once you have received your Edrig and I have all the components to build your model I will contact you and ask you to send your Edrig in its original packing plus a non-refundable deposit of £300
* The model should be complete in 4-6 weeks from receipt of the Edrig
* Once your Edrig is complete and tested we will contact you for final payment of the outstanding balance. The model will then be posted to you or if you wish collected in person from DJB model Engineering Ltd
